What are Balanced Organ Systems?
We have balanced organ systems when all five major organ systems (Kidney, Heart, Liver, Lungs, and Stomach) run smoothly and in harmony. There is no depletion within any of the organ systems that we are trying to hungrily make up for. When the all five organ systems are running smoothly, we experience less stress from our daily life. And when something is off within one or more of the organ systems, we are unable to muster the confidence and strength to deal with life issues that come at us every day.
Even when we have our five organs only somewhat harmonized, they can run without problem. Though we may feel discomfort from time to time, all we have to do is make few adjustments to our diet to mend the deficits in our specific organs to get it back on track. What this means is that the body has no reason to have anything interfere with the smooth running of the organ systems and create illness and disease.
Before we can achieve this level of harmonization among our five organ systems, we need to first attend to our body’s needs. Which of our five organs needs the most nurturing and what distress signals is our body sending us? If we have a certain level of awareness of its needs, we’d usually only need to make small adjustments from time to time.
If we have made the correct dietary choice for our body, we have no ill effects afterwards.
However, if consume foods that aggravate the deficit in our organ systems, we end up suffering a great deal as a consequence.
For example, let’s say we have a habit of snacking on bread/crackers at night that’s done out of habit rather than real hunger. From this we eventually experience discomfort in the stomach, tightness in the joints, dryness of the mouth, bad breath, stiffness of the body, and unrestful sleep. If we are aware of these symptoms and connect it to our habit of eating bread/crackers late at night, we wisely discontinue the habit that makes us sick.
However, there are some of us who can’t help but continue with these unhealthy habits despite knowing what it does to us.
If we want to be healthy and be our optimal self, pay attention to the food we eat and nurture the weakest of our organ systems by eating the foods that support it. More we close the gap in our systems, easier it will be to do what is right for our body.
The balancing of the five organ systems requires all of the organs to have enough strength to accomplish its individual task while supporting the other organs and their functions. This creates an overall body system that runs smoothly and efficiently, allowing us to live life that reflects the harmony of our body system.
